Each Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) member receives a portion of the weekly harvest.  Expect fewer varieties of produce in the early part of the season.  The amount of produce/ varieties increases as the season progresses.

Distribution of produce is 1 time per week (for each area), beginning in early-mid June and ending in early October.  We will call/email you as the season nears for the exact date of the 1st distribution date.

Distribution Schedule

Pueblo Members:  Pick up at the farm on Saturday's from 8:30 am to 1 pm.

Colorado Springs Members:  Produce will be distributed on Wednesdays between 4 pm and 7:30 pm.  The location will be at America the Beautiful Park during the CFAM Farmer's Market.  

Newsletter

A monthly newsletter keeps members informed of goings on at the farm.  A weekly recipe will be provided during distribution.

Free - Range Eggs

Eggs are not part of the CSA Share, but can be purchased at an additional cost.  We are quite proud of these "special eggs".

Share Types

• El Grande' Share:  This share receives the same weekly amount as the Full Share.  The real benefit comes at peak season if you would like to store produce away for the winter.  This share entitles you to receive 7 boxes of produce of your choice.  A list will be provided.

• Full Share:   This share provides a good choice for 2 adults and younger children to supplement their weekly diet.

• Individual Share:  This share provides a good choice for an individual who like fresh produce or to a retired couple to help supplement their weekly diet.

• Green Work Share:  Receives a Full Share amount of produce, but pays the Individual Share price.  Work requirement is 20 hours throughout the season.  Please inquire early for further information and requirements regarding this share.

• Full Work Share:  Receives a Full Share amount of produce.  Work requirement is 75 hours throughout the season. Please inquire early for further information and requirements regarding this share.

Work Shares:  Before signing up for a Work-Share, please email or call for further information/requirements and availability. 

 

Early Signup Bonus

It is truly appreciated when CSA Members sign up early, it allows us to plan seed, and water purchases along with estimating the amount of  transplants for this season.  If you sign up by sending in your $50 deposit, or full payment, you will save $10 towards the El Grande' Share, $10 towards a Full Share and $5 towards the Individual Share. 

 

Referral Bonus

If  you know of family, friends, neighbors and/or groups who would benefit and enjoy our CSA Program, please tell them about us.  For each El Grande' Share or Full Share that you refer to us (and they sign up), we will discount your membership fee and theirs by $10.  If a referral signs up for an Individual Share, we will discount your share and theirs by $5.  At this time there is not a limit to the number of referrals.  Please do not refer current members for a referral bonus.
